I am happy to share that our Autumn Ikebana Class at Best Living Japan will start soon! For this class, the lessons will focus on special-themed arrangements. This is to introduce appreciation of the seasons which is a tradition in Japan as well as combine Japanese flower art with non-Japanese celebrations like Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Best Living Japan Autumn Ikebana Class
The class aims to help beginners and non-practitioners learn the basics of Sogetsu-style Ikebana. At the same time, participants will also learn advanced techniques in creating flower arrangements for special events and occasions. There will be four lessons to celebrate the seasons and special occasions. Similar to our spring Ikebana class, participants will first learn the step-by-step procedures to learn the basics as well as some techniques. After that, they will be asked to incorporate their learnings to make a special-themed Ikebana arrangement. Printed guides will also be provided to help the participants recreate the arrangements at home. Fresh materials and tools will be provided during the class.
All classes will be at Best Living Japan Studio at Minami-Azabu, Tokyo. For details about the class and how to register, please click here: Best Living Japan Ikebana Classes. Likewise, please feel free to share this to your family and friends. Looking forward to welcoming you in September!
